Brian Sandler, M.D. is Board-certified in Dermatology having studied at Michigan State University for Undergrad and Wayne State School of Medicine for his Medical Degree. He attended Wayne State University's Dept of Internal Medicine and Dermatology. After completing his Dermatology Residency, Dr Sandler served 4 years with the US Army Medical Corps, attaining the rank of Major. He currently is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology and enjoys General, Surgical, and Cosmetic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Sandler performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancers and is a Fellow, of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Kara Szczomak, PA-C attended Western Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Health. Kara continued her studies at Barry University in Miami, obtaining her Masters Degree. She also traveled to the Caribbean to study tropical medicine.
Kara has been with Academic Dermatology since August of 2013 performing the following: acne, biopsies, eczema, psoriasis, cosmetic injections, diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions of all types. Kara is an affiliate with The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants. Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Jenna Pannebecker, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Rochester University, a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln University, and a Doctor of Medical Science Degree.
She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Jenna is devoted to providing compassionate patient care and helping others navigate their unique dermatologic needs.
